Working Hours: 08:30 am to 04:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant and supportive community at an outstanding primary school in Enfield. This role is crucial in helping children with diverse learning needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities of Early Years Teaching Assistant:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including ADHD and self-harming behaviours.
- Use your skills to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students.
- Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions.
- Offer crucial assistance across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to the needs of different age groups.
- Foster strong relationships with students, promoting their holistic development.

Early Years Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Must be experienced with nappy changing.
- A proactive, resilient individual who can uphold high standards and bring out the best in pupils.
- Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
- Ability to support with nappy changing and cater to individual special educational needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
