Early Career Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and structured lessons in line with national curriculum standards.
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Differentiate teaching to accommodate diverse student needs and abilities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, leadership, and support teams.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure a safe and respectful classroom.
ECT Requirements:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on the path to achieving it.
- Specialism in any subject area (including core and foundation subjects).
- A proactive, reflective, and professional teaching approach.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
