About the Role:
- As a History Teacher, you’ll deliver lessons that bring the past to life, help students develop critical thinking, and support them in achieving strong outcomes.
- You’ll foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver History lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Assess, track, and support student progress
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Support pupils with targeted interventions and exam preparation
- Work collaboratively with department staff
Job Requirements:
- Qualified teacher or strong subject specialist in History (QTS preferred)
- Experience teaching History at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Confident, organised, and adaptable approach
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
