GSL Education are recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to provide targeted support across diverse learning environments, with opportunities available in schools across the S25 region surrounding Dinnington.
As Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TA), you will support pupils in accessing learning, building confidence, and developing key social and academic skills, while helping to create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.
Core Responsibilities:- Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs.
- Assist with classroom activities and adapt resources where required.
- Support emotional regulation, communication, and engagement.
- Work one-to-one or in small groups to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and SEN teams to support progress.
- Previous experience working as SEN Teaching Assistants or in a similar support role.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to support pupils with a range of additional needs.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
