Are you patient and dedicated, ready to provide personalised support that helps pupils reach their full potential? GSL Education are appointing motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work across schools in Dinnington, notably within the S25 locality, offering consistent academic and emotional support to students requiring additional guidance. As 1:1 Teaching Assistants (TA), you will work closely with pupils on an individual basis, helping them stay engaged in learning, build confidence, and overcome barriers within the classroom environment.
Prime Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one support tailored to individual learning needs.
- Assist pupils with understanding tasks and staying focused.
- Support emotional wellbeing and encourage positive behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback where required.
- Previous experience working as 1:1 Teaching Assistants or in a similar support role.
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Awareness of safeguarding and child protection practices.
