Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teacher ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? As an SEND Teacher, you’ll create an encouraging and tailored learning environment for students with diverse needs. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons that promote confidence, independence, and progress while collaborating closely with support staff and specialists to meet each child’s unique goals.

The role:

  • Plan and deliver creative, individualised lessons that meet EHCP and learning objectives
  • Support students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Create an inclusive, positive, and structured classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and SENCOs
  • Monitor and assess progress, adapting strategies to meet evolving needs
  • Encourage emotional, social, and academic growth through a nurturing approach

What we need:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching or supporting children with SEND in school settings
  • Strong knowledge of differentiation and personalised learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
