Are you a committed and compassionate SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? GSL Education are seeking dedicated SEN Teachers to work in inclusive and supportive Schools across Dartford, providing high-quality education to students with special educational needs. As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver personalised learning programmes designed to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND. You will play a key role in supporting their academic progress, confidence, and overall development within a nurturing school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual SEN needs.
- Support students in one-to-one or small group settings in line with EHCPs.
- Monitor, assess, and record student progress effectively.
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students with SEN or SEND needs.
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and SEN frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
