This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain classroom experience and support students across a range of subjects.
As a Cover Supervisor , you will oversee lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and adhere to the set work.
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor : Supervise and manage classes during teacher absences.
Ensure all students remain on task and follow the lesson plan provided.
Promote positive behaviour management and address disruptions calmly.
Provide feedback to the teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
Qualifications for a Cover Supervisor : A minimum of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
Ability to adapt to varying classroom environments and needs.
