Are you a dedicated Cover Supervisor with a passion for maintaining a positive and structured learning environment? Join our team and make a difference supporting students’ learning and development during teacher absences., In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting schools and ensuring students stay on track with their education. Your main duties will include:
Support for Pupils

Supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

Acting as a positive role model and setting high expectations for behavior and engagement.

Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom.

Keeping students focused on their tasks and responding to general queries as needed.
Support for Teachers

Providing objective and accurate feedback on lesson conduct and student behavior.

Maintaining records as agreed with the teacher.

Promoting positive values and addressing any behavior incidents promptly in line with school policy.
Support for the Curriculum

Supporting the use of ICT in the classroom where appropriate.

Utilizing available resources and equipment effectively to support learning.
Support for the School

Providing cover in other areas of the school when required.

Upholding policies and procedures related to child protection, equal opportunities, and health and safety.

Participating in training, school meetings, and lunchtime duties as needed.

Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Experience working with children or young adults in a school or similar setting.

Strong behavior management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
