Role Responsibilities of Biology Teacher:

  • Develop and lead interactive Biology lessons across Key Stages.
  • Deliver both theoretical knowledge and practical Biology lessons, including laboratory experiments and investigations.
  • Inspire curiosity, develop critical thinking, and cultivate a passion for the life sciences.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum delivery and share effective teaching strategies.

What You’ll Bring as Biology Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Biology in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for engaging students in Biology learning.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
