GSL Education are excited to appoint an enthusiastic Biology Teacher to a vibrant school in Nottingham. Inspire students to develop confidence in scientific investigation, hands-on lab work, and the exploration of living systems.
Role Responsibilities of Biology Teacher:
- Develop and lead interactive Biology lessons across Key Stages.
- Deliver both theoretical knowledge and practical Biology lessons, including laboratory experiments and investigations.
- Inspire curiosity, develop critical thinking, and cultivate a passion for the life sciences.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum delivery and share effective teaching strategies.
What You’ll Bring as Biology Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Biology in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.
- Creativity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for engaging students in Biology learning.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
