Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons across your specialist subject.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Assess, monitor and support student progress.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different learners.
  • Work closely with colleagues and school staff to support student achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide feedback where required.
  • Follow all school policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a

Secondary Teacher in UK secondary schools.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
