GSL Education are seeking a Cover Supervisor to work within schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), maintaining continuity in learning during staff absences and supporting pupils across a variety of subjects. As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage behaviour, and maintain a structured, positive classroom environment that supports student engagement throughout the day.
Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across multiple subjects.
- Maintain a calm and purposeful learning environment.
- Support pupils in completing tasks and staying on track.
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil engagement and progress.
