GSL Education is seeking a motivated and imaginative educator to join secondary schools in Doncaster from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to encourage self-expression, visual literacy, and technical skill in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Encourage creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking through a variety of media.
- Maintain an organised and inspiring classroom/studio environment.
- Assess and track pupil progress, offering constructive feedback.
- Support students in building portfolios and preparing for assessments.
- Collaborate with the department on projects, displays, and enrichment activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Art and Design.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for visual arts.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools is desirable.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
