Job Description

1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Nottingham Pay: 90 110+ per day (DOE) Start Date: Immediate Contract: Full-time/Part-time Be the Support They Need 1:1 SEND TA Wanted Are you passionate about helping students with additional needs reach their full potential? We re looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support to students in Nottingham. In this role, you ll work closely with teachers and SENCOs to help students engage with the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their personal and academic goals.

The Role: Provide one-to-one support to students with SEND, tailoring assistance to individual needs Support learning activities and encourage independence in the classroom Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised learning plans Help students develop confidence, social skills, and resilience Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teaching staff and parents Assist with resources and activities to enhance engagement and learning What You ll Bring: Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school-based or similar) A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills Ability to motivate and engage students in learning Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Are you ready to be a SEND TA , then apply now with GSL Education to make a meaningful impact and help students thrive in their learning journey!
