GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in schools in Maltby. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced school staff to support teaching and learning while gaining invaluable classroom experience. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom behaviour, working closely with teaching staff to provide a positive and productive learning environment. Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor: Deliver pre-set lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Ensure students remain on task and follow the lesson plan. Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies. Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil engagement and behaviour. Promote a positive and safe learning environment. Requirements for the Cover Supervisor role: A strong academic background or previous experience working with young people. Confidence in supervising a classroom and managing behaviour. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
