Textiles Teacher Slough September 2025 Start (Temp to Perm)

Salary (MPS1 to MPS6, depending on Payscale)

A secondary school in Slough is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic textiles teacher with a strong background in fabric-based design and practical classroom delivery. This is a full-time, temp to perm role starting in September 2025.

The ideal textiles teacher will have experience teaching creative and hands-on textiles lessons, with a focus on sewing, pattern cutting, and design techniques. You should be confident managing a classroom and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students at both KS3 and KS4 levels.

QTS and relevant experience as a textiles teacher within a Design and Technology department are essential. A passion for creativity and strong classroom management skills are highly desirable.
