Salary: £120 - £220 per day
GSL Education are recruiting for a number of English Teachers to work in our client schools based in Watford, starting from September 2025. The responsibilities for the role are listed below.
Essential Requirements as an English Teacher:- Relevant UK teaching qualification degree(s); namely a PGCE in Secondary English with QTS.
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
- Foreign qualified instructors assessed by NARIC are welcome to apply.
- Relevant teaching experience in a school setting for Years 7 to 11 is required.
- Strongly committed to pupil welfare.
- Strong command of the curriculum and good behaviour management skills; able to meet deadlines.
- The ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
- A flair for planning creative and effective lessons.
- The ability to direct a team of Support Assistants and work as part of a wider team across school if need be.
- In possession of an Enhanced DBS or willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
