GSL Education South Yorkshire branch are working with progressive schools in Wakefield (WF7) to appoint a Mathematics Teacher. We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable teacher who can deliver purposeful lessons, strengthen students’ mathematical understanding, and encourage positive attitudes towards problem-solving. This opportunity is suited to a teacher who can bring mathematics to life, helping students understand key concepts and apply them with confidence.

Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:

Requirements for Math Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • Previous experience teaching mathematics in school settings.
  • Secure subject knowledge and the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly are required.
  • Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and supporting student engagement is essential.
  • A structured, patient, and adaptable teaching approach is desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
