As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for delivering pre-set lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment during teacher absences. Main Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise classes across a variety of subjects during teacher absences
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure learning objectives are met
- Maintain a calm, organised, and productive classroom environment
- Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Support students with their learning and encourage active participation
- Provide clear instructions and guidance throughout lessons
- Communicate any concerns or incidents to relevant members of staff
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all learners
Requirements of a Cover Supervisor:
- Experience working with young people is desirable
