Are you passionate about helping children with special educational needs? Do you want to make a real difference in their lives? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are working with a lovely SEN school based in Hook, and we are currently seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The school boasts fantastic facilities, including a sensory room, soft play areas, and extensive outdoor spaces.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with their learning and development. Some of the experiences we are looking for in the ideal candidate include:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with autism and/or social and emotional needs
- Knowledge of and experience with behaviour management strategies
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with parents and other professionals
- A patient and nurturing approach to working with children
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment

To work with GSL Education as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
