Are you confident in the classroom and looking to gain hands-on experience in secondary schools? GSL Education are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are keen to develop their experience in education whether you are considering teacher training or simply enjoy classroom-based roles.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering lesson plans left by teaching staff
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Supporting students with questions and tasks
- Reporting back to teaching staff at the end of the day
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with young people (school-based experience preferred)
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Confident, adaptable, and professional approach
- Ability to work across different subjects and year groups
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
