About the Role
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that help students understand physical and human geography, develop analytical skills, and make sense of the world around them. You will create a positive learning environment that supports progress and achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Assess, track, and support student progress
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Support pupils with exam preparation and targeted interventions
- Work collaboratively with department staff
Job Requirements
- Qualified teacher or strong subject specialist in Geography (QTS preferred)
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Confident, organised, and adaptable approach
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
