EYFS Teaching Assistant – Plymouth Location: Plymouth Salary: £80-£90 per day Working Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Start Date: Immediate GSL Education is seeking a talented and motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Plymouth. This is a permanent role, ideal for someone passionate about working with children in Reception or Key Stage 1. Responsibilities Provide personalised guidance and support to children as an Early Years Teaching Assistant. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans. Foster a nurturing environment to enhance social interaction and communication skills. Assist with daily classroom activities and deliver effective interventions to address behavioural challenges and encourage positive outcomes. Requirements Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years. Experience working in EYFS or KS1 in nurseries or schools. Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with children and staff. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable.
