Salary: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)

As a Secondary Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons, support student learning and progress, and help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ education while gaining valuable experience.

Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in your subject area
  • Support students’ learning and development across different abilities
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline in the classroom
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Support students’ personal, social, and academic development
  • Prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies
  • Ensure lessons are inclusive and meet the needs of all students

Requirements of a Secondary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school is desirable
  • Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
  • Passion for teaching and supporting students’ learning
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
