As a Secondary Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with subject teachers and SEN departments to provide essential classroom support, encourage student engagement, and reinforce learning objectives. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support to students, including small group and one-to-one interventions.
- Assist teaching staff in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a productive learning environment.

- Foster a positive rapport with students and contribute to their personal and social development.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Secondary Teaching Assistant (TA) Requirements:
- Previous experience working with secondary-age pupils is preferred.
- A Level 3 TA qualification is highly desirable.
- A genuine enthusiasm for education and a desire to work within a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
