Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum. Adapt teaching approaches to meet a variety of learning needs. Monitor and assess student progress, offering clear feedback. Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Build rapport with students, staff, and families. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and confidently. Take part in professional development, training, and mentoring opportunities. Requirements: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent. Some teaching experience in a secondary school (as an ECT or trainee). Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for teaching. Ability to engage and motivate pupils with creative lesson delivery. Good classroom management and a reflective approach. Organised, committed, and eager to learn. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps).
