Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Buckhurst Hill
Salary Range: £95 – £105 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term, Full-time
Hours: 8:30 AM 3:15 PM

Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students with a range of SEN needs.
  • Assist in delivering tailored learning activities to help students thrive.
  • Work alongside teachers and SEN specialists to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Foster independence and confidence in students, supporting their academic and social development.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements of the SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):

  • Previous experience in SEN or behavioural support.
  • Ability to provide high-level 1:1 support for students with diverse needs.
  • A resilient, proactive, and patient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Passion for making a positive impact on children s educational journeys.
  • A current CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
