Job Advert: PMLD Support Assistant Location: Tower Hamlets Salary: £85 to £100 per day (dependent on experience) GSL Education is seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to work with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) at a specialist school in Tower Hamlets. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting who are passionate about providing tailored support to students with complex needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with PMLD. Assist students with personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support. Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Help students develop communication and life skills through structured activities and programmes. Requirements: Previous experience working with students with PMLD or in an SEN setting is preferable. Ability to provide personal care and physical support to students. A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting students with complex needs.
