The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
  • Support children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
  • Assist with behaviour regulation, emotional support, and engagement
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff
  • Help implement EHCP targets and support strategies

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (school or alternative provision)
  • Confident managing behaviour and building strong relationships
  • Calm, patient, and resilient under pressure
  • Able to follow support plans and adapt to individual needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
