Are you an experienced PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role in a supportive SEN setting? This East London based opportunity is ideal for those with a personal care or health & social care background, confident supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs.

Location: Tower Hamlets

Pay: £100–£120 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full‑Time Monday‑Friday Term Time

The Role:

  • 1:1 and small group support for pupils with PMLD
  • Supporting personal care and mobility
  • Assisting with sensory activities and communication‑based approaches
  • Working in structured classroom environments
  • Promoting engagement, wellbeing and independence
  • Working alongside teachers and therapists
  • Maintaining a calm, patient approach at all times

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Experience as a PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting complex SEN
  • Background in SEN, care, or health & social care
  • Confident with personal care support
