Are you an experienced PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role in a supportive SEN setting? This East London based opportunity is ideal for those with a personal care or health & social care background, confident supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs.
Location: Tower Hamlets
Pay: £100–£120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full‑Time Monday‑Friday Term Time
The Role:
- 1:1 and small group support for pupils with PMLD
- Supporting personal care and mobility
- Assisting with sensory activities and communication‑based approaches
- Working in structured classroom environments
- Promoting engagement, wellbeing and independence
- Working alongside teachers and therapists
- Maintaining a calm, patient approach at all times
Who We Are Looking For:
- Experience as a PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting complex SEN
- Background in SEN, care, or health & social care
- Confident with personal care support
- Calm, reliable and compassionate
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
