Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker looking for a consistent and rewarding role in a supportive school setting? GSL Education are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) to work across a range of specialist SEN schools and inclusive mainstream schools in South London, supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD, and complex needs. These roles offer long-term stability, strong school support, and the opportunity to move into permanent positions.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs
- Support students with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
- Assist teachers with classroom learning and daily routines
- Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and pastoral teams
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Have experience in SEN, education, care, youth work, or support work
- Are calm, patient, and confident supporting challenging behaviour
- Are reliable and available Monday to Friday
- Are seeking a long-term, full-time position
School-based experience is advantageous but not essential. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
