Are you an experienced PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a full-time position in a supportive school where your expertise truly makes a difference? Location: Enfield
Pay: £95 - £115 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time Monday - Friday Term Time
The Role:
- 1:1 and small group support for pupils with PMLD
- Supporting pupils with personal care and mobility where required
- Assisting with sensory activities and sensory regulation
- Using visual, tactile and communication-based approaches
- Supporting learning within highly structured classroom environments
- Promoting engagement, wellbeing and independence
- Working collaboratively with teachers and therapy teams
- Maintaining a calm, patient and nurturing approach at all times
Who We Are Looking For:
- Experience working as a PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting pupils with complex SEN
- Background in SEN schools, care, support work or healthcare
- Confident with personal care and physical support
- Calm, compassionate and resilient
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, proactive and committed
- SEN, care or medical experience is highly desirable
