GSL Education London Branch is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced History Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive coeducational secondary school in Hackney. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated History Teacher who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (KS3 KS5). This is an excellent chance for a committed History Teacher to make a real difference in a short-term role. If you are an enthusiastic History Teacher who enjoys working with young people and supporting their academic growth, this role is for you.

As a History Teacher, you will work closely with staff and students to create a positive learning environment. The school is seeking a reliable and motivated History Teacher who can start immediately and contribute to high-quality teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging History lessons for KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Teach in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess, mark, and provide clear feedback on students' work

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Proven experience as a History Teacher teaching KS3 KS5
  • Strong subject knowledge in History
  • Good classroom management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
