Your Key Responsibilities of a SEN TA:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with varying SEN needs
- Assist in the creation and delivery of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Promote academic, emotional, and social development
- Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
- Help implement positive behaviour support strategies
- Monitor and report on student progress and well-being
What We’re Looking From a SEN TA:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for inclusive education
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN is a plus
