GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work on an ad-hoc basis in Long Sutton and Holbeach secondary schools. This role offers flexible working hours, ideal for individuals who are open to short-notice calls to assist in classrooms. You will be required to be available for work on short notice, with calls made between 7:00 am and 7:30 am on the morning of the day. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students aged 11 to 16, helping them with their learning, behaviour, and classroom activities across various subjects. Flexibility is key, as you will be required to adapt to different classrooms and lesson plans depending on the day. Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (TA): Provide classroom support for students aged 11-16 in various subjects. Assist teachers with lesson delivery and student engagement. Adapt to varying lesson plans and assist with different learning needs. Offer additional support to students who may need extra help with their studies. Requirements of the Teaching Assistant (TA): Previous experience working with young people (desirable). A flexible and proactive approach to work with the ability to respond quickly to short-notice calls. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
