GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Boston. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in their education journey.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students across the curriculum. You’ll provide tailored academic and pastoral support, helping pupils to reach their full potential particularly those who may need additional encouragement and guidance.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting teaching staff in the classroom and helping deliver learning activities.
  • Working one-to-one or with small groups of students, including those with additional needs (SEN, EAL, or behavioural challenges).
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
  • Encouraging and developing students' confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.

Who We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from candidates who:

  • Have previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students.
  • Understand the importance of safeguarding and student welfare.
  • Hold a relevant qualification or are willing to work towards one (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate).
