GSL Education is seeking a motivated and dedicated English Teacher to join a secondary school in Spilsby on a temporary basis. This role is available for an immediate start and will continue until the end of the summer term.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys inspiring students through literature and language while supporting them in developing strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Encourage students to develop strong literacy, comprehension, and writing skills
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations where required
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
