GSL Education is currently recruiting Secondary School Teachers across a range of subjects to work with partner secondary schools in Scunthorpe. We welcome applications from experienced teachers, ECTs, and teachers returning to the profession who are seeking flexible or longer-term opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity to work in supportive schools while maintaining flexibility and variety in your teaching career.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable).
- Follow lesson plans or adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive learning environments.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback when required.
- Work collaboratively with department staff and senior leadership.
- Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies at all times.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- A flexible, professional, and reliable approach to work.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
