GSL Education is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools in Boston. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping young people succeed both academically and personally.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support students across KS3 and KS4, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the classroom on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Help students stay focused, motivated, and engaged in learning
  • Provide additional support to pupils with SEN or behavioural needs
  • Support students’ emotional wellbeing and personal development
  • Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion policies

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
