GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging History Teacher to join a welcoming school in Sleaford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed humanities department and help students connect with the events, people and ideas that have shaped our world.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic lessons, with a focus on encouraging analytical thinking, historical enquiry, and a love for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Inspire students to develop curiosity, critical thinking and a deeper understanding of historical events and contexts.
- Assess student work regularly, providing feedback to support individual progress.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high standards.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school development initiatives.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in History or a related subject.
