About the Role: As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will play a key role in fostering a love for literature and language while ensuring students achieve their full potential.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Plan and deliver inspiring and creative English lessons.
- Teach a range of topics, including literature, creative writing, and language analysis.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and academic performance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and challenge learners.

English Teacher Requirements:
- Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have UK teaching experience.
- A degree in English, Literature, or a related subject.
- Experience teaching English in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Passion for encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and a love for English.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
