GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools across Boston. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who are looking for flexible work, whether you are available one day a week or looking for regular teaching opportunities.
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning while maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment. This role is ideal for experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and those returning to the classroom who are seeking flexibility and variety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement
- Adapt confidently to different secondary school environments and subject areas
- Ensure students remain on task and complete the work set
- Provide clear feedback to teaching staff following lessons
- Follow all safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
