GSL Education is looking for flexible and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day basis across various secondary schools in Leicestershire. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and want to gain experience in different school settings.
Position Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive rapport with students
- A good level of Maths and English
- DBS registered on the update service
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes across multiple subjects during teacher absences, following pre-set lesson plans
- Ensure a positive and productive learning environment, addressing any classroom management issues as needed
- Support students in staying on task and assist with understanding instructions as necessary
- Liaise with school staff and provide feedback on the day’s progress
