Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking for a fulfilling role where your expertise can genuinely transform lives? GSL Education are currently recruiting SEN Teachers to work in supportive and inclusive Schools across Maidstone, delivering high-quality education to students with special educational needs.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored learning programmes that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND. You will work closely with support staff and professionals to create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver personalised and differentiated lessons aligned with EHCPs.
- Support students on a one-to-one or small group basis.
- Track, assess, and report on student progress effectively.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, Teaching Assistants, and external agencies.
- Support students' academic, emotional, and social development.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience working with students with SEN or SEND needs.
- Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and SEN frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
