Key Responsibilities of the Computer Science Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across KS3–KS4 (and potentially KS5).
- Teach elements of Business Studies as required on the timetable.
- Plan, prepare, and mark work to ensure strong progress and outcomes.
- Support the school’s vision by embedding digital literacy and critical thinking skills.
- Contribute to the wider school community and participate in departmental development.
Requirements for the Role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).
- UK teaching experience in Computer Science.
- Ability to deliver Business Studies lessons to a good standard.
- Strong subject knowledge, organisation, and communication skills.
- Commitment to promoting high aspirations and engagement.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
