Key Responsibilities of the Computer Science Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across KS3–KS4 (and potentially KS5).
  • Teach elements of Business Studies as required on the timetable.
  • Plan, prepare, and mark work to ensure strong progress and outcomes.
  • Support the school’s vision by embedding digital literacy and critical thinking skills.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in departmental development.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).
  • UK teaching experience in Computer Science.
  • Ability to deliver Business Studies lessons to a good standard.
  • Strong subject knowledge, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to promoting high aspirations and engagement.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
