Locations: Goole, Snaith & Howden

Contract: Flexible Hours, Term-Time only

Pay: £26.15 - £33 per hour

GSL Education is currently recruiting qualified Tutors to provide 1:1 teaching support to pupils across EYFS through to GCSE level in the Goole, Snaith, and Howden areas. Tutors must hold QTS or QTLS and have knowledge or experience of additional needs.

This role is ideal for passionate educators who enjoy personalised teaching, making a meaningful impact, and supporting learners with a range of academic and additional needs.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Work with pupils across a wide age range, from Early Years to GCSE.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support engagement, progress, and confidence.
  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned to the national curriculum.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to schools and families where required.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold QTS or QTLS (essential).
  • Have experience teaching across primary and/or secondary age ranges.
  • Are confident delivering English, Maths, or other core subjects.
  • Have strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
  • Are adaptable, patient, and committed to improving learner outcomes.
  • Have experience with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs (desirable but not essential).
