Maths Tutor Job Role: 1:1 Support (KS3/KS4) Location: Pocklington area Hours: Part-time or full-time flexibility available Start Date: As soon as possible or September 2025 Pay Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience from £26.15 per hour GSL Education are currently looking for a committed and passionate Maths Tutor to work 1:1 with secondary-aged pupils, supporting their understanding and confidence in Maths. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to student progress outside of the traditional classroom setting. Maths Tutor Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and tailored Maths tuition sessions (KS3 and KS4). Work 1:1 with students, both in and out of class, to help close gaps in learning. Track and report on student progress. Work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to meet individual learning needs. Create a positive and motivating learning environment. As the Ideal Maths Tutor, you should be: A qualified teacher or experienced tutor (QTS not essential). Strong subject knowledge in Maths up to GCSE level. Experience working with secondary school students. Able to build positive relationships and adapt sessions to individual learning styles.
