Graduate Jobs in Education Location: York, North Yorkshire Salary: £83 – £100 per day Start Date: January 2025 GSL Education is a nationally recognized company that has been in operation since 2000. GSL Education Hull and Yorkshire aim to uphold the company's brand by assisting teaching professionals in finding the greatest career opportunities in the area. With partnerships with local secondary and special educational needs schools, due to an increase in demand, we are currently seeking dynamic Graduates to work in a range of support positions, such as a Cover Teacher, Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor. Job Roles available to you include, but are not limited to: Supply Teacher General Teaching Assistant 1:1 Teaching Assistant SEN Teaching Assistant Higher Level Teaching Assistant Behaviour Mentor Cover Supervisor Tutor As the ideal candidate, you will: Previous experience in an educational or training role (teaching experience desirable but not essential). Have a genuine desire to work in the education sector. Be passionate about supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of children and young people. Be knowledgeable about additional needs, such as autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and SEMH. Be available on a flexible basis, at least 2 days per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only. Hold a Child only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education. Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
