GSL Education are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of English to join a supportive secondary school setting in North Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them achieve their full potential in English Language and Literature.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, including GCSE preparation.
- Plan, assess, and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Support literacy development and foster a love of reading and writing.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and interventions.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and a safe learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support school improvement.
