Role: Design Technology Teacher Location: Hull Start Date: January Salary: MPS/UPS Contract: Full-time GSL Education Hull are recruiting a Design Technology Teacher to work within a Client Secondary School in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire to teach across all subjects. As a Design Technology Teacher your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering DT lessons up to and including at GCSE standard (please note that any Design Technology subjects will be considered). Help devise engaging and creative lessons. Use all available resources to engage young people. Follow the ethos and policies of the Multi Academy Trust, promoting positive behaviour throughout the School. Promote independent learning for all pupils. Take part in staff training days, staff meetings and parent’s evenings. Minimum candidate requirements: A UK teaching qualification namely e.g. PGCE in Design and Technology or B.Ed with QTS. Relevant teaching experience in a UK school setting for Years 9 to 11 is required. Up to date in their field of expertise with the capability of fostering curiosity and interest for the subject. Strongly committed to pupil welfare. Strong command of the curriculum and good behaviour management skills; able to meet deadlines.
